while trying to trace my family roots, the closest i have gotten is my great great grandfathers obituary. its really tough to trace your family without a good place to start. for me, even names are tough to come by.
this would be my moms great grandfather...

"RAEL--In this city, Dec. 18, 1952, Trutoso A. RAEL, dearly beloved husband of Beatrice RAEL, loving father of Mrs. Alma MACHADO, Mrs. Cleo ACOSTA and Mrs. Esther LUJAN, a native of New Mexico. The funeral will take place Satruday at 8:30 a.m. from the Chapel of J.C. O'Connor Co, 455 Valencia St, thence to St. Teresa's Church, where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul commencing at 9 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
