the end of the karate kid 2 is awesome.
daniel-son has put up a respectable fight, and against a japenese toughguy no less! but he is fading and appears to be out of gas, that is until he goes and gets all Hulk Hogan n' shit with a second wind.
and once the mini drums start hummin, its on!
daniel-son is in the zone, and sato-son's nephew doesn't even see it coming, he walks right into a slapfest that turns him into a wad of jelly. daniel larussa shows him what "california myaji-do" karate is all about. And not only that, just to play it coo, daniel-son gives the impression "as if" he is gonna toss nephew of sato-son a bone and actually offer up a chance at "honor", but nedz, instead, he goes for the old "clown nose honk" at the last minute.
"live or die, man?!"
"die!"
"wrong! *hyyooonk!*"
dissed.
gangsta shit.
the inspirational soundtrack is cranked up a notch (dun, dun, dun, dun nun nun).
daniel-son is a hero! worn out (beaten that ass can really wear on you), tired, beat up, and with his old lady safe in his arms. and at this moment, who does he see? thats right, master myagi... proud, smiling, happy.
the end.
peter setera comes in singing about the "glory of love".
classic.
i bet daniel larussa went back home after japan and was mack daddy.
